Wow!!! Take a look at this. From Craig Michael Thompson. Not only has he designed one letter but an entire typeface! "I created the typeface using shredded paper & light-drawing." I think you will all agree this is pretty darn intense. When it comes voting time just pick your favoutite letter and let us know which one it is. You can get in touch with him here via e-mail or you can get in touch on twitter @Craig_Michael. He is currenly freelancing but will soon be starting his own design business. Watch this space. I figured it wouldn't be right if I didn't put up a submission of my own. So with that in mind I decided to make this Q. I drew it by hand and then colcoured it up in Photoshop. Might even do another one if I get the time. Obviously you know who I am and what I do so there is no need for any introduction here. Hope you like it. Click the image to enlarge it.

Two entries in one day is great. But when the two entries are of the quality of these last two then you really have to count your blessings. This breathtaking letter has been created by Gary Devreede and I have to say some people really shouldn't be this bloody talented, it make the rest of us look bad. Gary's work is super cool, super slick and made of the sort of stuff that makes for a superstar designer and illustrator. One to watch for sure. Click the image to enlarge it.

Me again!Posted by Johnny on September 16 2011
So I was feeling inspired. Things are going well and I have been working a lot on some typographic stuff myself at work. One of the things that I have wanted to work on for a while is creating my own complete and usable typeface. I have had numerous conversations with some cool people recently and this got me thinking, "why the hell not? It can't turn out any worse than Comic Sans right?" Anyway, there you have it, this is the first letter from my new face Red. I will be posting more on this in the work section but for now it can be another entry. Click the image to enlarge it.
